Ideas2Market

Welcome to the Oxford Entrepreneurs Ideas2Market Programme
Vision
Ideas2Market aims to be the leading student-oriented entrepreneurship programme in UK with the goal of helping students start a company whilst at university based on the philosophy of learning by doing.
The programme provides participants with an environment equipped with all the necessary tools for starting a successful company: like-minded and talented people; experienced mentors; theoretical knowledge; practical skills for starting and running a company and money.
This Year (2009/10)
Following a hugely successful first year round two of the Oxford Entrepreneurs Ideas2Market Programme is about to commence. Last year, Ideas2Market enabled students to spin out 13 new ventures and this year we hope to better this by generating at least 15 new companies.
Being part of the programme this year by developing your new and innovative ideas into a reality will really benefit both your business idea and you as a person. You will meet some great and like-minded students, create fantastic contacts and open up a whole can of worms in regards to useful contacts! This really is an opportunity not to be missed and, best of all, it’s totally FREE!
What’s on Offer
The Ideas2Market programme runs over most of the academic year running a series of workshops, competitions, training days, investment opportunities and mentorship. You can make the most of as much or as little as you wish however we would highly recommend taking every opportunity available.
Everyone that is part of the programme is encouraged to develop a short executive summary about their business idea, this will be judged by professionals (potentially James Caan, but this is TBC) and then the winner will receive various prizes including £1k CASH. The winner will also receive a golden ticket into the final of our Idea Idol competition where they could win a further £10k investment with no strings attached.
