n576095461_2490287_98192.jpgWelcome to Oxford Entrepreneurs, the most dynamic and exciting movement at the University of Oxford.

Oxford Entrepreneurs is for students who are doers and who want to make a difference. Get inspired by some of the world’s top entrepreneurs and innovators, learn from our workshops led by leading practitioners, connect with like-minded individuals at our lavish social events, run a company while you study with our new Ideas2Market programme, win up to £10,000 in our flagship Idea Idol competition, and get the support and advice you need, all entirely for FREE.

Oxford Entrepreneurs is open to everyone – whether you are already living the dream having started your own enterprise, have new ideas, or just want to find out what entrepreneurship is all about. Our members come from all disciplines and levels of study. Indeed, we have grown to over 3,500 members, making us the largest entrepreneurship society in Europe.

In Michaelmas Term we will bring you Tim Campbell, winner of the Apprentice and Founder of the Bright Ideas Trust; Lord Karan Bilimoria, Founder and CEO of Cobra Beer; and, Tim Smit, Founder of the Eden Project. We are also launching an Ideas2Market programme to provide you with the knowledge and skills to begin a business while at university.

The Department of Trade and Industry described Oxford Entrepreneurs as “one of the top three organisations in the UK for supporting innovation and enterprise”. From business ideas to technological spin-outs, events to social enterprise ventures, Oxford is buzzing with start-ups. Join Oxford Entrepreneurs and be part of a dynamic community of some of the most innovative, driven, creative, talented and fun people at the University of Oxford. Join us in becoming the next generation of leading entrepreneurs in the world.

I look forward to meeting and working with you all over the coming year.
